Dunga Beach on Lake Victoria

The Ladies at Dunga Beach gathering for Bible teaching time before they begin their days work at cleaning and selling fish. The Lady in charge has given us permission to come early while they are waiting for the fishermen and we can teach. These ladies look for us each Friday morning and if for some reason we have to miss. They let us know they noticed we were not there.

Usually we get several opportunities to teach on Friday mornings here. John will go off and find men sitting around and I will go to the ladies. In the orange shirt is Helen a community health worker at the Ring Road VCT and she translates for me. She is very expressive and good at sharing the Word to the Ladies. She also knows the right way to ask for permission everywhere we go.
